The most especial woman in my life

The most sensitive woman that I have never met in my life is my mother, she is a significant person in my life, a woman who smells like a flower and her feelings are fragile like crystal. If you would know her you will notice that she is beautiful inside and outside, she always makes me be a better person. I do not remember when I saw her for the first time, but I know that this moment was so special for her, because she is so sensitive.

She has an unique personality, she is lovely and elegant, she always appreciate the people for who they are, she is so simple and she laughs easily, she has a particular laugh, her teeth are white and the ones at the front are a little bit bigger than the others, the tone of her laugh is discreet and she almost always cover her mouth with her right hand when she laughs. I think that she is very shy, discreet and reserved with her personal things, she does not use to say something wrong about anyone. I can compare her with an ice sculpture, she is complex and gorgeous piece of art but at the same time she is fragile. She is a hard worker woman, she cares too much about her work, she always thinks about what she is going to do or why she did certain things, when she does this, she always takes in account the opinion of my father, when she has a doubt she bow her head, she put her hand on her hip and talks about the worries that she has, she is so comical when she does it. Even when she has positive and negative aspects I can say that she is strong, brilliant and a great person, in general she is very special for me.

She has been my best friend since I was born, even when she is hard to understand, my relationship with her is good and sometimes queer because she can be so sweet with me but when she is tired she get angry especially with me. Honestly, she does not look like my mother because she is tinier than me, when we walk together I feel like a giant, it is because she is so short but when she uses high heels she looks higher than me but her steps sound like a little person walking next to me, she is so petite and cute.

We shared many treasure moments, she is a good adviser, she always makes me feel important because she always listen to me, I remember an especial moment from my childhood, one day I came from playing with a friend but I was crying and I could not speak, she took me in her arms and she asked me: what is the matter, honey?, I only saw her and told her that my friend Hilda told me that Jesus does not exist, and I asked her with my weak voice, Is it true mom? And she hugged me stronger than the first time at the same time she explained me the entire story, I looked her and I felt so protected and peaceful, it was wonderful that my mom was there for me, she is my best support.

My mother is the most sensitive, delicate, dedicated, stronger and beautiful woman that I have never known, I think that she is a unique person, she is the support of my family, and I admire and love her so much.

My evolution in Electronic Literacy
Electronic tools have been so important since the 90´s, so almost all my life has been surrounded by different technology and electronic tools. These have played an important role in my education and communication.
I started using electronic tools at elementary school where I had a computer class. In this class we saw the basic things to work with a computer. Nowadays I use these electronics tools mainly to do homework and for entertainment. However, not only for these tools are useful to do more things and make life easier and even to take care of the environment. On the other hand, the computer or the internet make things difficult as well, because these electronic tools could have technical problems and could not work and because of this you spend more time than what you had planned, these could happen even if you are pretty good using technology.
At this point of my life, I am interested in how to use them. I know how to operate “windows office”, the one that I use the most is Microsoft word, which is a text processor; the same with Power point, it is very useful at the school, in presentations, explanations etc. Internet is so important to me in assignments, research and to interact with other people, the chat rooms and the blogs are more appropriate to do this. Technology is an important part in my life, mainly in my education and it will continue to be for rest of my life.
We need to be updated all the time because technology is changing. Electronic tools will be a requirement for my education and I expect that the progress of technology will make the use of this easier, and do not to have any technical problems; besides I plan to be update in order to be able to use the computer and other electronic tools, I know that the use of technology is important to do research on some concepts, authors, theories, things that help me in my professional life as an English teacher.
The need to be updated in this modern world. If you are not conscious of this, you would be rejected by the new society and their new resources.

About me…

My personality, my goals, all my life is wonderful and it is so different from other people; I am unique as you are; as anyone is. I am interesting and I expect so many things for my future, I hope that my life stills as good as now or even better.

My name is Cecilia Martínez Frausto, at this point of my life I am studying the third semester in the major of English Language Teaching and I am very happy with this. I have a very unique personality, I can be as sweet as a candy and bitter as a lemon, I am very honest, which can be bad sometimes because when you are too honest people on your side could be hurt by your words. I get angry easily with the slightest provocation, I am a dreamy and realistic girl at the same time, I am very complicated but if you know me you will know that it is not easy to get bored with me if you have me in your life. This is what I am and I will not change for anything neither for anyone. Talking about my hobbies, my favorite hobby is to talk with people that defend their point of view. It is motivating; I also love to spend time with my family and my boyfriend. I love them; I like to go to the movies and to go out with my friends every weekend. Another hobby that I have since I remember is drawing and honestly I am very good at that. I hate hypocrite and conformist people.

There are many positive things in my life, like my family, they are the best point in my life, they are my center, my support and the only people in whom I can really trust because they will never let me down. Nowadays, I have a few friends, but I know that some of them are the real ones, I like to go out with them; I know that when the whole thing is good or bad they are there next to me. And as I mentioned, my major is another thing that makes me happy, it is my passion, when I am in front of a group I feel a tremendous emotion, it is because I am very grateful, I have a lot of good things in my life that make it a good one with memories, dreams and goals.

Most of the time I think about my future goals in the short term that is in five years, I hope I will have finished my major and I want to continue studying a Master´s Degree. In five years, I might be married with my boyfriend, but I do not want to have children soon. My goals in the long term that is in ten years, I hope that I will have a good job as an English teacher, have my own house and car, and have a very cute child like me, luckily I will be happy and successful in all these life aspects.

All that I am is all that I have, because I can have plans or goals but the only thing that I have for sure is myself, I am always going to have all my expectations in mind to achieve them sooner or later but the memories that I have got through my life are the ones that I am going to cherish forever.
